If you're a beginner, then you probably want to start with the Wireshark User's Guide. The Wireshark Wiki is also a good source of information. Some beginners may find videos helpful; try searching for some on YouTube. And you might also want to check out the Sharkfest Retrospective pages too; there are a lot of useful archived presentations and videos available there. This ought to help get you started.
