With the latest Wireshark.dmg - 3.0.0 Intel 64.dmg, On the Capture --> Options -> Manage interfaces , Remote interfaces tab is missing

Only if you compile libpcap 1.8 or later (I'd suggest 1.9.0) yourself, with remote traffic capture enabled (it's not enabled by default), install it, and then build Wireshark with that version of libpcap.

(The same applies on many other UN*Xes, as they may not provide remote-capture-enabled libpcap, either.)

Hi Guy,

I am currently trying to do a remote packet capture from a remote host - my computer ( Mac)- with a Raspberrypi4.

I am wondering if there are any updates on Remote Capture for Mac since this post or easier ways to do it!
