I have attempted several times to install in Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard with 64 bit version. Is there a procedure, how to install ? It fails after vc++_redistributable extracted and can not execute further.

What are dependent packages required to avoid this and install offline way. Please note that, the server is not connected to internet to download any package.

Please help !

This has previously been reported a number of times for Win 7, which is roughly equivalent to Server 2K8 R2, and the answer appears to be that you must have installed certain Windows updates as a prerequisite for the VC++ redist package.

As your machine isn't connected to the internet, that seems to be the most likely cause. Somehow you'll need to find a way to get Windows updates to that machine.

An alternative is to try an older version of Wireshark that uses an older VC++ redist that might be supported by your machine. You can always capture with the older version and then copy the capture to another machine with a newer version of Wireshark to analyse the traffic.
