Running Wireshark concurrent with dumpcap

Is it okay to run Wireshark and dumpcap on the same machine/interface concurrently? I am using dumpcap to capture long term traces, and want to occasionally use Wireshark to capture immediate traffic at the same time.

Yes, you can run multiple instances of Wireshark, dumpcap, tshark, etc., even if capturing on the same interface.
