usr/bin/dumpcap in child process. Why am i getting this?
I just downloaded Wireshark on VM VirtualBox/ubuntu and wanted to start viewing packets, but don't know how.

Your title and question is unclear, what does the title have to do with the question?
I.e., what is the "this" that you're getting?
Is it an error message saying "Couldn't run /usr/bin/dumpcap in child process: {something}"? If so, what is the complete and exact text of the error message, starting with "Couldn't run" and ending with the "{something}" (the "{something}" should indicate to us what the problem is - without that, we probably won't be able to tell you why you're getting that error!).
