Database for management of PCAP files?

Hi.

This is not a Wireshark specific question, but I was wondering how everybody is managing the many PCAP files they have.

As I've got hundreds of capture files I'm looking for a (small) database solution for managing all the PCAPs (including meta information, comments, etc.). Ideally, it would be a multi-user application so that my colleagues would also have access to it.

Could anybody recommend a product (best would be open source)? Or how are you managing your captures?

Thanks!

Over the years I've used folders/files, pcapr.net, and cloudshark.org. I used an internal version of Box for awhile as well. This was similar to the folder solution obviously, but included tagging, comments, and notes. Cloudshark is great, but is not open source and has a cost if you need long-term storage and features beyond the free tier.
