I would like to map MAC addresses to names. I created the ethers file, like:

60:f8:1d:b5:b7:fe MacBookPro2

and i've placed the file in my personal-folder:

/Users/xerxes24/.config/wireshark/profiles/wireshark101

I have also activated Name resolution, but i see always:

Apple_b5:b7:fe (60:f8:1d:b5:b7:fe)

I use Mac OS 10.13.6 and Wireshark 2.6.3. I've tried also to put the ethers-file in my global-config directory. But nothing helps! I never see the desired result.

Am I doing something wrong?? First error I made, was to create the ethers-file with TextEdit. But know I made it with nano.
