Cannot start program after installation

I Installed Wireshark 2.6.2, and after installation I tried to start the program by clicking on the icon. But nothing happens. This is on a Windows 7 64-bit Dell laptop.

Try uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling again.

Unfortunately no result. Uninstalling ,rebooting and reinstalling is not the solution.

Can you try uninstalling WinPcap from "Programs and Features"? The reason for this is Wireshark uses WinPcap to test for interfaces on the machine at start-up and I suspect this is the issue you're running into.

Still no result. Wireshark does not start at all. I use Wireshark Legacy instead(this works fine).
