Using capture filter from welcome screen not working WS v4.6.0

Hello all

Using "ether host 84:ea:ed:09:4e:1b" capture filter on wifi en1 from the welcome screen does not filter traffic. All traffic is captured.

It does work from Capture > Options settings screen. Only traffic for that device is captured

Wireshark v4.6.0 (v4.6.0-0-gcdfb6721e77c) MacOS 15.7.2 Intel Mac Mini 2018

Not sure how long this has been a problem

On the welcome screen have you selected the Wi-Fi: en1 interface before entering the capture filter? Be aware the capture filter is kept per interface. For instance, if the Loopback: lo0 interface is selected and the capture filter is entered, then a double click on Wi-FI: en1 will load its capture filter (which is empty) and start the capture.
