Newish user - hi probability user error. Today loaded current Wireshark 4.0.17 on Linux (RPI5) and 4.4.6 Windows 11 When search for how to add CAN bus DBC support, docs and 'AI' says to Edit > Preferences > Protocols > CAN DBC

CAN DBC is missing on both these versions of Wireshark and no amount of googling suggests any other way to load a dbc file. I do see CAN, CAN over AVT, CAN-ETH but no CAN DBC.

CAN capture working fine, I see built-in decoders like CANopen - but need to add an external dbc file to decode.

Can you provide a link to the "docs" with this info?
