What is the Markdown syntax supported by AskBot

I can't see any sort of help on the Markdown syntax supported by AskBot.

I've also noticed that the [] and () combo for a link doesn't seem to work in a comment. In addition it's always bugged me that you get editor help for a question or answer but not a comment.

With the change to the comment editor, I think links should work now.

Using (), let's go to Wireshark. Using [], let's go to tcpdump.

the space between ] and ( was the issue.

There is a rudimentary set of markdown info displayed on the right hand side when creating a question.

This doesn't seem to be visible when making a comment or answer.

On top of that, the quotes for a code seem not to work in comments either.

I changed Editor for the comments to be the same as for questions and made a quick edit to your comment, so backtiks for code do seem to work now.

...which has also made the previously "twitter-like" size of comments less limiting. Thank you.
