Wireshark Updates via proxy

Is there a way to have wireshark check and receive its updates via a proxy? I would assume that it will trust the local operating system's trusted root CA store but how do we get wireshark to utilize a proxy in the first place?

What's your OS? Post the contents of Wireshark -> Help -> About Wireshark to provide other info that may be useful.
