Installed Wireshark NOW Computer will NOT Boot

asked 2024-05-13 08:11:25 +0000

I installed Wireshark last night, luckily I cloned the drive before , as when I went to Boot today it goes ina continuous Loop and not booting. It gets to the Windows Logo and then restarts and again, and again. Used the Cloned drive WITHOUT Wireshark and now boots fine. So clearly something it didnt like about wire shark. I run Windows 10 Professional 64 on AMD motherboard.

Any ideas ?

Probably an issue with Npcap, which Wireshark installs on Windows, so that it can do packet capture; report the issue on the Npcap issue list.
