Hello Dear Authorized,

I am Melike and a student of electrical engineering. I am working on ethernet protocols and their encoding, decoding. So I want to learn information about some devices or programmes. I wonder whether 10BASE-T1S protocol is used on wireshark software or not. Because I am studying on 10BASE-T1S protocol especially so I have to figure out how can I decode this protocol or how can I detect errors in protocol or how can I observe the signal of protocol?

Thank you so much for your regard,

Kind regards..

Packet analysis tools, like Wireshark, work on the data link layer (frame or packet level) on up. That means that they rely on the underlying (networking) hardware and drivers to interface with the physical medium to provide them with an interface to receive the frames or packets of communication. It seems you are looking at what is happening at the level below that on the physical medium, the differential Manchester encoded data. That is not what these tools can do for you, for this you need specialized analyzer hardware to interpret those symbols.

Actually, I want to look errors on 10BASE-T1S protocol and electrical levels of this protocol. As I know, we can not observe electrical levels like oscilloscope but at least I wanna know whether the protocol is working properly or not in term of frame.
