Can you help me by explaining how to see signal/parameter names and their data associated with each timestamp in data log.
While analysing PCAP file of EV charging data log which contains info of various handshake phases names, signal names and their values associated with each packet of log file. Can you help me by explaining how to see signal/parameter names and their data associated with each timestamp in data log.
This data is visible in CANOE. How it can be see in Wireshark.
Do you have a pcap you can share?
If so, put it on a public file share then update the question with a link to it.

pl check and let me know in case you cant access PCAP file link. thanks
Also attaching screenshot of CANOE window how details are available there. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1k5Tk...
Can we read these highlighted details on Wireshark too?
How was the capture file created?
It was created through CANoe
import .DBC file
15454: Dissection of CAN packets based on a DBC specification
Looks like you would have to write your own dissector.
Chuck, can you pl elaborate
It's been done by another vendor: https://canlogger.csselectronics.com/...
If you can get the packet format from CANOE them maybe it could be modified.
this CANoe created PCAP data is Powerline Comm (PLC) trace data taken over Ethernet. Is the method same for this as you mentioned above? Is dbc file really required? because our past supplier only used to get PCAP log file for their analysis (w/o using Canoe)
This is the functionality you want from Wireshark?
