When selecting capture i get the error"ERROR: Both --etlfile and --params arguments are empty"

Yep, don't attempt to capture on "all" interfaces if you have the ETW reader extcap plugin.

There is already an issue open for that: https://gitlab.com/wireshark/wireshar...

Bottom line: don't select the "Event Tracing for Windows (ETW) tracker" interface.
