Antenna fault ?

Is there a command to check if an antenna is working. I have an external antenna connected via 6' cable to a USB adapter connected to an RPI4. This runs in monitor mode and recently noticed the number of clients have dropped right off. The kit is remote so not east to swap so before i go out an chnage bits i just wondered if i can check to see if the antenna is faulty.

Its not directly but i'm using wireshark to capture the packets. If there is a better forum to ask on please enlighten me.
