What good is a portable version of WireShark if then when I launch it I get.
Local interfaces are not available since no capture driver is installed. You can correct this problem by installing Npcap.
What's more, trying to open the indicated site appears not to exist.
The portable version doesn't include an installation of npcap to make captures as that would require elevation consent (UAC). The link to npcap allows the user to manually install it if the user is able to provide elevation consent.
Without npcap, the portable version can still be used to open capture files from elsewhere and analyze them as normal.
