Install Wireshark on Windows Server 2012 R2 standard

I tried to install Wireshark on Win Server 2012 R2 standard but I get the error "The visual C++ redistributable installer failed with errore 23 " .. What can I do to solve the problem? thanks

second question :) i tried to use the portable version on the same SErver , I click on the executable file but nothing happens...

What version of Wireshark? FYI, Server 2012 R2 goes out of service on 10th Oct. 2023.

Unfortunately VC redist errors are problematic to resolve, is the server up to date with all Windows updates? You could try manually installing the appropriate redist from here.
