There are no set plans to update any protocol dissection. What you can do is create an issue where you request the enhancement of this dissector. Adding a sample capture file to it increases the change someone will implement it for you, if you don't do it yourself.

Yes, but one should also keep in mind that just because an issue is opened, it doesn't mean anyone will actually work on it.

As the FAQ states, "Support for particular protocols is added to Wireshark as a result of people contributing that support; no formal plans for adding support for particular protocols in particular future releases exist."
