LTE traffic parsing problem

asked May 12 '3

Hi all, I am researching in LTE packet in Wireshark, but I am confuse about Cellular pcap content convert.

For example lte-rrc.rsrpResult in MeasurementReport, Wireshark UI display rsrp range -67(dbm) <= RSRP < -66(dbm) (74).

I have been known 74 is mean mapping to RSRP range table, but when I check raw data(hex value) is 'ca'.

Please give me some advise to find resource or how it work? Thanks !

The raw data you're seeing is actually the PER encoded value. Therefore there's more to it than just a base conversion.
