I have used wireshark before many years ago. Just installed it and I cannot get started. Docs say that when I open Wireshark I should see a list of networks, but I don't. I have looked through the menu options but cannot see the way to get going. In Capture the start stop restart options are all greyed out. I know this is a very basic question but I cannot find the answer. Thanks Mick

Likely that you don't have any capture application installed. Can you post the contents of Help -> About Wireshark (using the nifty "Copy to Clipboard" button)?
