Hello, We are using centos7.9 and wireshark version is very old in centos7.9, so I want to create a rpm from the latest version of wireshark and use it. For this, I got information from the pages on the wireshark site:

https://www.wireshark.org/docs/wsdg_h...

But the preparation of the build environment seems quite long. Is there a way I can do this faster?

The instructions from the official Wirehsark Developer's Guide are the only instructions I'd advise you to follow.

That said, you might run into some trouble due to older compiler versions, missing dependencies, etc. Assuming so, you might want to follow the recent thread on the wireshark-users mailing list, Issues compiling Wireshark on RHEL7. Unfortunately, Mun Johl, who started the thread, ultimately gave up on trying to compile 4.0.2 on RHEL7, but was successful with compiling 3.6.10 instead, so if you don't require the very latest, you might want to save yourself some time and headaches and try that version instead.
