Hi there ! My message is for WS developers. Would it be possible that you could implement USB capture filter to save only the payload to a file ? I think this feature should be of great interest to a large number of hackers. Thx.

Somehow I feel that true hackers don't need that feature. They would have build them for their own purpose. But I subscribe to the old definition of hackers.

If I read https://www.wireshark.org/docs/dfref/... it seems there is plenty of room to filter USB packets. And you can always fall back on old school byte count.

If that does not address your concerns then I guess I have interpreted your question not as you intended.

It would be possible with this feature, among other things, to catch data from a webcam, scanner, printer, usb key... A bit like wiretapping in good spy movies.
