Hi , I have dumped the packets at wireshark on UDP , when the decoding happens at wireshark there is no issue when its SRB 1,2 under MAC . Whereas when I try to see the same for data packets which fall under LCID 4 , the RLC headers are not shown . Is there anything I am missing here? I am not able to upload image of this to show the problem . Regards, Akhila

Also helps if you add version info (wireshark -v or Help->About Wireshark:Wireshark) to the question.

In order for the mac-nr dissector to know how to dissect a DRB lcid, it needs to know how the mode, SN length and drb number . The mac-nr preference, 'Source of LCID -> drb channel settings' is used to control this. The preferred method is 'From configuration protocol', which would work if unencrypted RRC appears in the trace, but if this is not possible, use 'From static table'. In this case, you need to open up 'LCID -> DRB Mappings Table' and manually configure RLC bearers for the LCIDs that are in use.

If 'From configuration protocol' is preferred, should that be the default setting in the preferences?
packet-mac-nr.c:

static gint global_mac_nr_lcid_drb_source = (gint)FromStaticTable;
