wireshark 4.0 Snaplen cannot be changed

Good day, I just installed version 4.0 and noticed the capture option Snaplen cannot be "double clicked" in order to be changed from the default. Instead, the capture is started right away. Can anyone confirm the same behavior on his instance? I have seen this on another machine as well.

Hello Marek,

I am also facing weired behavior and do not know how can I ask. Do yo have any solution. Its pretty shit when large size of files take time to save and then copying them.

This issue is fixed in recent versions (4.0.2 or later ??).

What version are you running?

Current open issue(s):
18269: Capture buffer size cannot be changed before capturing
18442: Double click in capture options dialog (snaplen, buffer) columns closes the dialog
