tshark how to enable nas-5gs EEA0 decrypt, I have been trying all options i can think of to figure out the correct KEY, one such example below tshark -r 1UE.pcap -o nas_5gs.mm.eea0.null_decipher:true -Y "ngap" -T json >packets.json

tshark: -o flag "nas_5gs.mm.eea0.null_decipher:true" specifies unknown preference

Like wise tried many others

  1. -o EEA0:TRUE
  2. -o nas_5gs.mm.5g_ea0:TRUE

The easiest way to figure these things out is to go straight to the source, in this case the preferences file. If you want to know where that is, run tshark -G folders. There you can find a link to where your personal configuration is.

When I look in my preferences file I see this entry, which might be what you're looking for:

# This should work when the NAS ciphering algorithm is NULL (5G-EEA0)
# TRUE or FALSE (case-insensitive)
#nas-5gs.null_decipher: FALSE
