How can i install tshark version 3.0 on RHEL 6 system.

Currently tshark 1.8 installed on my RHEL6 system. when i tried to filter RTP packets using some filter which worked on windows PC , did not work here, can you please help is there a way to upgrade to latest version.

I can think of 3 ways to install a more recent version on RedHat:

Compile and build from source
Use the alternatives command
Download and install a more recent RPM for either RHEL or CentOS.

And maybe upgrade to RHEL8 first? I cannot test the above myself because RHEL6 is too old.
