Will you support decryption of encrypted packets when quantum computing is available?
Says it in the title.
Says it in the title.
That depends on the form quantum-computer-based decryption takes.
If, for example, it takes the form of a quantum computer that can be connected to a "regular" computer, and there are APIs offered for some or all of the OSes on which Wireshark runs, and somebody decides to implement code in Wireshark to feed the packets to a quantum computer capable of decrypting the packets and get back decrypted results (assuming there's a way to determine whether the decryption is correct, of course), then Wireshark will support it, at least for people who have the quantum computer attached to the machine running Wireshark, complete with the library supporting the APIs in question.

Step by step SSL decrypt with wireshark
NAS over S1AP ciphered - can be deciphered?
Can't decrypt WPA-PSK (WPA/WPA2) even with passphrase and EAPOL Handshake
Any direction on how to resolve this is appreciated: WEP and WPA Decryption Keys
[TLS 1.3] I am getting an error while decrypting the SSL Handshake Traffic -
Forcing Mac OS X to reconnect in monitor mode
unable to decrypt ssl with server private key
why wireshark is not showing http or https packets in the view?
Really? Is this a real question?
