no xhc20 in filter list

recently I installed wireshark and shutdown the SIP feature and did the ifconfig. Wireshark started up and displayed the XHC20 filter in the initial capture filter list.

Being new at wireshark I fumbled around and the next time I started it, the XHC20 filter was missing from the startup list. I can't seem to get it to reappear.

ifconfig shows this:

XHC20: flags=1<up> mtu 0

Can anyone suggest what I might do?

You mention capture filter a few times, do you actually mean interface list, i.e. the list of interfaces displayed under the capture filter edit field?

I can see how the interface list might be thought of as the "capture filter list" as it has no separate title field.

Can you also post OS and Wireshark version info, the text from the Help -> About Wireshark -> Wireshark dialog has all that's required?
