HTTP/1.1 502 Bad Gateway

How do I know what is causing this issue? Suspecting HTTP headers with invalid Transfer-encoding or Content-length invalid value

How to analyze this in TCP dump? I do have a dump, but cannot share due to sensitive info

This is an application layer (HTTP) thing, so you better look in the server / CGI logs to see what they say and work your way back from there.
