Checking if the VPN connection is working

Hi,

in my network there a a few devices using vpn. Until now I am not sure if the vpn plugins are working correct. So how can I check, if these devices really using the vpn connection?

At best by accessing the destination which should be accessed using VPN while capturing at the client's network connection. If you can see packets to and from that destination in the capture when the VPN plugin is inactive and you cannot see them when the VPN plugin is enabled, everything is all right.
