Windows 10 laptop, HiDPI laptop monitor, but using docking station with 1920x1080 external monitors only, at 100% scaling factor in Windows 10. All other applications scale properly, Wireshark 3.2.1 behaves rather oddly.

I'd show you - but somehow this forum thinks its more useful for me to be denied being able to upload a simple image

Suffice to say, the menu bar and title bar are scaled fine, but the QT driven elements (display filter, captured packets, etc) are scaled ridiculously large (250-300% larger, at a guess)-- scaling that would be fine if running on the laptop's screen (which is not in use at the moment, and is typically set at either 250-300% scaling)

Any way to force the HiDPI scaling factor in Wireshark 3.2.1 back to a sensible setting?
Thanks in advance

Have you tried tweaking the Windows compatibillity options for high DPI?

Thanks @bubbasnmp - Windows actually has a fix for such, how about that (arguably Windows is likely the cause too)

If I modify my Wireshark shortcut to override High DPI and let "System (Enhanced)" do the work it does indeed open properly on the 1920x1080 monitors @100% scaling.
