Wireshark Portable does not start in "Program Files (Portable)" folder

Hello

I have a folder "Program Files (Portable)" in c: where I put all my portable apps (and have WOX indexing it for quick launching). Unfortunately Wireshark Portable sees that the folder contains/begins with Program Files and therefore denies starting up. In my opinion, those paths should be hardcoded to "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86)" or even the corresponding environment variables in order to allow such custom folders.

Is there any hacky way (except for using another folder without Program Files) to prevent that issue?

Thanks Roman

I have the same problem here. Does anyone have a solution or workaround?

What happens when you put it in a folder without a space in the name?
Are you using a pathname in double-quotes to launch it?

Yes i use pathname with double-quotes. "C:\Program Files (Portable)". When I try to start the program I get an error message box that the program cannot start in "C:\Program Files".
