Hi,

The trick to troubleshooting discards is to capture the traffic before it is dropped by the interface.

I don't think you'll have good results capturing on the hosts themselves because the interface will have dropped the packet before sending to Wireshark.

You may be able to capture on the virtual switch but your mileage may vary.

If possible try to use a network TAP to capture "on the wire."
