download wireshark on older mac version?
How do I download Wireshark on older Mac version, it does not let me install it and open, and does not let me download it through homebrew. Are there any other links or versions? Verison 12.6.5 (21G531) MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)

No such problems here with current Wireshark on V10.15.7 MBP 2012. No other such reports AFAIK. Sounds like a local issue.
So for the first of those, are you referring to the Wireshark package from wireshark.org or to the install from Homebrew? And what happens if you try to install it and open it?
It happens to wireshark from website, the file does not open and install into the computer, it says it cannot be installed: This release of Wireshark requires macOS 10.13 or later. If you are running an earlier version of macOS you can install using another packaging system such as Homebrew or MacPorts. And it shows wireshark logo's image with prohibition sign on top.
So you downloaded the "macOS Intel 64-bit.dmg" DMG from the "Stable Release: 4.0.5" list and you can't open the DMG?
Halfly, I downloaded Intel 64 (..) and cannot actually install it, it has downloaded and opened in my computer, but does not let me install into the computer. It shows program with "Stop" sign on top, then I cannot install it or move into folder of install on computer. I cannot download it through Homebrew as it says that I am not an administrator, although I am the only user on the computer, but that is a computer issue I believe. Are there possibilities to download the application that opens and installs on this serie computer? It reads in the text that wireshark is for version 13, are there other programs?
